C-ECO @ Congress for Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy

Circular Economy Solutions GmbH was invited to present their business model at the „Congress for Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Baden-Wuerttemberg”.
The „Congress for Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Baden-Wuerttemberg“ is the largest congress dedicated to circular economy and resource efficiency in Germany (for further information see http://www.ressourceneffizienzkongress.de).
Attendees of the congress were representatives of politics, science, and industry. The main goal was to discuss the latest trends in circular economy and to align cross functional strategies.
Michael Schedler, CEO of Circular Economy Solutions GmbH, presented the automotive remanufacturing business with a clear focus on reverse logistics. In his lecture, he matched the new demands out of the “Circular Economy Package 2” of the Directorat-General for the Environment with the actual legal situation. He also highlighted potential conflicts and possibilities of improvements. Together with the presentations of Nabil Nasr from Rochester (Golisano Institute for Sustainability) and Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut (Minister of Economy / Baden-Württemberg) the congress was supporting the further development of circular economy.
The next and 6th Congress for Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy will take place in Stuttgart on the 18th and 19th of october 2017.
