Core purchase for more circularity
Circular Economy Solutions GmbH (C-ECO) offers a new business possibility for workshops and wholesalers by buying their valuable cores and entering these cores into a circular economy.
The purchase and sales of used automotive parts is intended to ensure the remanufacturing of used automotive parts and thus the sustainable use of raw materials.
There are often bottlenecks in the return process. This is, among others, due to the suspension of the deposit obligation of many large manufacturers for automotive parts. In order to reduce this problem and to be able to secure the used parts inventory in the future, C-ECO buys parts in the market and resells them to the remanufacturers. This should improve the availability of used parts for remanufacturing.
In partnership with Alltrucks GmbH & Co. KG, C-ECO has started in spring 2020 to collect cores from workshops in Europe. This cooperation gives workshops affiliated to the Alltrucks network the opportunity to return their cores into a Circular Economy without much effort and by receiving a payment (read more here).
