Big milestone for CarE-Service Project

The EU funded project CarE-Service just published its first official newsletter. The main topics are remanufacturing, re-use and recycling of the three value chains of Batteries, Metals and Techno-polymers. The view of CarE-Service circular business model is presented with its potential impact in the future of the automotive industry and sharing mobility. With the input of all partners the consortium developed a comprehensive overview of the current project status.

CarE-Service

The goal of the CarE-Service Project is to develop circular economy business models for innovative hybrid and electric mobility through advanced reuse and remanufacturing technologies and services. It is a 3-year project (until May 2021) aimed at finding solutions for the “end of life” situation of electric and hybrid electric vehicles (E&HEV).

C-ECO with its know-how in reverse logistics and experience in “closing the loop” in the automotive industry (with their service brand CoremanNet) is supporting the project in creating new business models. Also the identification and evaluation of high value E&HEV used parts and components such as Li-ion batteries, metal parts and techno-polymers is a part of C-ECO's participation within the project.

 This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No  776851.
